ESX 2010 provides glimpse of security industry's future

June 23, 2010 – The Electronic Security Expo (ESX), owned by the Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA) and the Electronic Security Association (ESA) delivered another strong event last week, exclusively for security integration and monitoring companies.

Passion for the security industry was intoxicating at ESX 2010, as exciting new products and services were launched on the expo floor, best practice models were revealed in seminars and new relationships were formed at networking events.

"We come to ESX to see where everything is headed," says Kyle Hupp of Security Innovations. "It gives us a chance to see the products we’re probably going to be working with in the future. There’s so much here to see and learn about."

EXPO FLOOR

On June 16 and 17, the ESX expo floor buzzed with the powerful conversations of potential new business partners. With the nation’s leading security integration and monitoring companies in attendance, including most of the SDM 100 listed companies, the 165+ exhibitors and sponsors were pleased with the quality of attendees visiting their booths.

"We managed to see a host of potential new customers with whom we formed a good relationship in a very short time," writes a UPG Security Blogger. "Our regional sales people are going to be very busy over the next few months, establishing solid working relationships with these people. We could clearly see that the leads we received from ESX were of much better quality than at ISC West."

In fact, the ESX 2010 exhibitors and sponsors, filling well over 50,000 gross square feet of expo space, had no need to water down any information. With invitation open exclusively to security monitoring and integration companies, the information provided on the show floor wasn’t diluted or redirected for end users or Homeland Security Profiles. Rather, their powerful new products and services were spotlighted for attendees from across the nation, 43% of which had company revenues totaling over $5 million dollars and served commercial (89%), residential (73%), industrial (68%), institutional (64%) and governmental (54%) markets.

Over 75 pleased exhibitors and sponsors have already secured their space for ESX 2011. In less than a week, the Platinum Sponsorships for 2011 have already been completely sold out; the lineup includes: the CentraLarm Group of Companies, ESC Central, Honeywell and The Systems Depot.
