Multi-Tenant Security System-Visonic Ltd. released an enhanced multi-tenant, partitions-enabled PowerMaxPro system. The system can be split into multiple areas or partitions, allowing it to be used as if multiple individual alarm systems are installed. Arming and disarming are performed separately for each area, but the system uses only one communication line and home and business owners only pay for a single control panel and one monitoring fee, reducing total cost of ownership. When the system is in partitions mode, the user can arm and disarm designated parts without affecting the status of other parts. The partitioned system may also include multiple common areas such as a reception in a shared office complex or a corridor between two independent parts of an apartment.

Early Warning Fire Detection-The VESDA VFT-15 aspirating smoke detection (ASD) system from XTralis is an early warning fire detection system that provides pinpoint addressability for up to 15 protected areas. It divides a protected space into sampling sectors, enabling the reliable detection and location of a fire at a very early stage, which is key to fast and intelligent emergency response.

Secondary Fire Interface-The Pro-Watch(r) NOTIFIER secondary fire interface from Honeywell enables users to monitor Notifier fire events and point status information from a central command and control location. It is ideal for users who monitor multiple systems in geographically diverse locations from a central site. The NOTIFIER module is offered with 500 fire points and can be expanded to 2,000 fire points per panel in increments of 250.
